Julia (Jules) Luthringer is thrilled to be joining the Paul M. Angell Family Foundation after 6+ years supporting the National Geographic Society (NGS), where she led the ocean research and conservation grant portfolio of projects and worked with National Geographic Explorers to identify and develop ocean priorities for the organization. Previous to NGS, she was a 2017 Knauss Fellow advancing federal funding for NOAA’s climate and ocean research. Earlier in her career, Jules supported field-based marine research across American coasts and internationally.
Jules holds a Master’s in Environmental Management from the Yale School of Environment and a Bachelors’ in Marine Sciences from Boston University.
