Audra Yokley (she/her) is a Senior Program Officer for Performing Arts grants for the Paul M. Angell Family Foundation (PMAFF). She manages the foundation’s theater portfolio in Chicago, Cleveland, and Detroit.
Audra is originally from Alabama, lived in Yellowstone National Park for two summers, and had slightly longer stays in various other places. However, having lived in Chicago for over 10 years, she considers this great city to be her home.
Before joining PMAFF in 2019, Audra was a fundraiser for Chicago Opera Theater, All Stars Project of Chicago, the University of Texas at Austin, and Louisiana State University. Audra is also an actor and intimacy choreographer, so it thrills her to be able to support the art form that has critically shaped her life.
When not at the office or theater, Audra enjoys most of her free time with her wonderful husband, daughter, and son. She also gets a kick out of frolicking in the forest, backpacking, being in or near a body of water, singing too loudly in the car, brewing beer, crafting, and traveling when she can.
She earned her MFA in Theatre Performance at Florida Atlantic University, BA in Theatre at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, is a member of Actors Equity Association, and has extensively studied the Michael Chekhov Acting Technique.
